SAFI

SOCIETAS APERTA FEMINARUM IN IURIS THEORIA

In 2019, together with Dr. Kristin Albrecht and Dr. Claudia Wirsing, I founded the SAFI network. SAFI is an interdisciplinary network for women in legal academia. We are now an internationally active scholarly network with annual conferences. The purpose of SAFI is to facilitate internal networking and to organize and cooperate strategically. In this way, female scholars have a platform to present and amplify their work, and outstanding research by women can become firmly established in legal academia. SAFI sees itself as a network of solidarity that not only harnesses scholarly synergies but also provides support and encouragement.

SAFI offers information, connects talent with resources, and fosters cooperation as well as professional and personal exchange. Together, we develop new ideas and formats to strengthen the academic careers of women in legal academia and to make their outstanding work more visible.
